Terms of Use

1. Licence

Tonalier is a photo editor for iPhone, iPad and Mac, published by Eralp Yücel. You get the app from the App Store, and your use of it is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement:

This page adds the points that are specific to Tonalier. If the two differ on the licence itself, Apple’s agreement governs.

2. The free version and Tonalier Pro

Tonalier is free to download and use. The free version includes every editing tool, the character Maren and one Look in every series, and exports carry no watermark.

Tonalier Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that adds every Look and every character:

• Periods: one year or one month.
• Price: $29.99 per year or $6.99 per month in the United States. Prices vary by region; the price for your region, including tax where it applies, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
• Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Trial: Tonalier Pro has no trial period. You can preview Pro Looks and characters on your own photos before subscribing.
• Devices: one subscription covers Tonalier on iPhone, iPad and Mac with the same Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases on a new device.

3. Cancelling and refunds

• Cancelling: open Subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, or Manage Subscription in Tonalier’s settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, and Pro stays on until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• After cancelling: you return to the free version. Your photos, edits and library stay where they are. A photo edited with a Pro Look or character can still be opened and edited; exporting it requires Tonalier Pro.
• Refunds: Apple takes the payment and decides on refunds. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your rights under the consumer law of your country are not affected.

4. Your photos and exports

The photos you bring into Tonalier and everything you make with it belong to you. We claim no rights in them, and you may use your exports for any personal or commercial purpose. You are responsible for having the right to edit and share the photos you work on.

5. Characters and Looks

Characters are fictional editors; they do not represent any real person. Characters and Looks may be added, updated or retired over time. Files you have already exported are not affected. The app, its characters and its Looks remain our property; you may use them freely on your own photos through the app.

6. Warranty

Tonalier is provided as described in Apple’s licence agreement. Automatic edits and suggestions are starting points that you can change or undo; please keep your own backups of photos that matter to you.

7. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what data is processed and what stays on your device.

8. Changes and contact

We update this page when the subscription or the app changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: support@tonalier.com
